Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed Public University preferably from BUET/DUET/KUET/CUET/RUET
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To operate Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Safety & other utilities & maintenance services properly & effectively.
∎ To conduct preventive maintenance and trigger corrective actions
∎ Inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
∎ Follow weekly maintenance schedules and allocated works
∎ Supervising and training maintenance staffs/technicians
∎ Follow all compliance for factory as per high standard EHS regulations and practices on site.
∎ Participate in coordination of projects (constructions & new establishments)
∎ Conduct maintenance work, follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work & safety inspections as scheduled.
∎ Stay up to date with latest policies, management best practices and concepts.
∎ Provide leadership and work as part of a team to coordinate and monitor electrical & mechanical maintenance works of all machineries and equipment's at our garments factory.
∎ Prepare preventive maintenance schedule of electrical and mechanical equipment in our factory, including sub-station, transformers, PFI, switchgear, distribution boards, RMS, generators, motors, compressors, processing machineries etc.
∎ Assess maintenance needs of all electrical and mechanical equipment's, ensuring quality work of any kind of repair work conducted in-house or in workshops.
∎ Co-ordinate with unit supervisors to ensure effective maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment's through regular monitoring of maintenance activities
∎ Prepare schedule for any shut-down required for preventive maintenance of electrical equipment
∎ Work closely with Directors to plan, organize and execute installation, and renovation projects.
∎ Having experience to face RSC audit (Ex Accord/Alliance) for their safety related audit like Structural, Electrical & Fire.
∎ Having vast knowledge in NFPA & BNBC references.
∎ Work with managers, executives and site team to resolve emergency issues, supervise local engineering teams.
∎ Manage relationships with all service providers, including keeping liaison with various utility companies including gas, electricity, and water.
∎ Work closely with contractors, sub-contractors and/or labors to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth operations of all production units.
∎ Carry out regular site visits and provide leadership to site teams.
∎ Find ways to reduce costs and conserve energy.
∎ Coordinate and manage administrative issues related to maintenance, utility.
∎ Resolve any situation & any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 50 years
∎ At least 15 years working experience in any reputed garments industry in installation, service, maintenance of substation, transformer, boiler, switchgear, bus-bar tracking, VRF air conditioning, lifts, generator, compressor, distribution boards, RMS, factory machineries etc.
∎ Good communication skills in both English and Bengali and strong analytical and numerical skills.
∎ Strong leadership and motivational ability.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within an allocated time-frame.
