Job Context:
∎ Khulna Mukti Seba Sangstha (KMSS) has been implementing "Challenge Facility for Civil Society Round 12" (Community for Community to TB Response in Bangladesh) a project funded by Stop TB Partnership/UNOPS. The project duration is from 01 December 2023 to 30 November 2024. The project is been implemented in targeted areas of Dhaka and Khulna City corporation. The incumbent will work as an Advocacy Officer for the project. The project aims to address CRG issues of TB prevention, Advocacy on TB, etc. to end TB.
∎ Job Nature: Full-time (Contractual)
∎ Job Location: Khulna & Dhaka City Corporation (One in Dhaka, One in Khulna)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Rigorous Field Visits to the intervention areas to understand the current scenario and planning.
∎ Carry out a capacity gap and needs assessment as per work plan.
∎ Planning Advocacy and other activities as per the approved work plan.
∎ Arrange and facilitate training sessions as per the work plan.
∎ Forming Committees and platforms as per the plan.
∎ Mapping of projects working with key beneficiaries and stakeholders.
∎ Monthly, quarterly half-yearly, and annual reporting.
∎ Any other task the project and the organization ask for.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years of working experience In the NGO sector.
∎ Experience in preparing training curriculum/module development in the NGO sector.
∎ Experience in SWOT Analysis & Training Need Assessment.
∎ Experience in preparation and conduction of Outreach Education Sessions.
∎ Experience in Advocacy and related activities.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the business area(s): NGO.
∎ Proactive and good team player.
∎ Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
∎ Good interpersonal communication skills and command of English - both spoken and written.
∎ Willing to travel extensively within the project areas and beyond.
∎ Adaptive capacity in different environments and work under pressure.
∎ Physical and mental capability to work at project areas and beyond.
∎ Person having Personal Motorbike with valid driving license will be given privilege.
Salary:
∎ USD 350 @ BDT 38,325 per month. It is noted here that, individual income tax will be deducted per month as per govt. law of Bangladesh.
