Job Context:
∎ Association for Community Development (ACD) is inviting application from suitable candidates for a project titled "Developing Youth Capacity for Facilitating Community-based Program on Preventing Violent Extremism". The project will work for creating equity and social harmony through engagement of youth to initiate positive steps towards preventing extremism. The position also requires regular financial monitoring and transitions to ensure value for money.
∎ Job Location: Shibganj Upazila, Chapai Nowabganj district

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise all aspects of finance and accounting function and maintains records of the project.
∎ Budgeting, work plan, financial planning, and requisition for expenses, prepare financial statements with comparative figures of previous month on monthly basis.
∎ Prepare report on monthly basis and comparative analysis of planned and actual expenses on monthly basis.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, half annual and annual report as per donor deadlines and get it signed by appropriate authority.
∎ Ensure that all financial records are maintained according to audit standards, including bank receipts, disbursement registers, invoices, bank vouchers, bank statements, petty cash vouchers, stock register.
∎ Provide support to the internal audit function and implementation of its recommendations.
∎ Bank reconciliation, cheque control, control over cash and payment system.
∎ Follow organizational instruments (financial manual, human resource policy, cost sharing policy, etc.) and donor guidelines.
∎ Procurement of all goods and services as per budget provision and ACD guideline.
∎ Review periodically pricing policy in the light of cost recovery objects.
∎ Ensure preparation of monthly payroll and staff salary.
∎ Ensure fixed asset recording, annual inventory, ID # ensure equipment and facilities are adequately.
∎ Review the findings of the external/donor audit report, and makes linkage between program management and financial management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 6 years of working experience on relevant job and at least 4 years work experience in any donor funded project.
∎ CA course completed will be given preference.
∎ Job related good conceptual understanding especially, bookkeeping, and accounting, personnel and procurement management.
∎ Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
∎ Capable to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholder and project beneficiaries.
∎ Motorcycle driving skill with knowledge on safety measures and valid licence.

Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
