Education:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
∎ FCA with a Masters in Finance/Accounting is preferred.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1.      Enough knowledge to ensure compliance with NBR, BIDA, and Credit Ratings.
∎ 2.      Expertise in Tax laws and VAT regulations.
∎ 3.      Expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and corporate finance.
∎ 4.      Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
∎ 5.      Strong decision-making and strategic thinking abilities.
∎ 6.      Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
∎ 7.      Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving results.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strategic Financial Leadership
∎ 1. Formulation of long-term business strategy, investment appraisal & analysis.
∎ 2. Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy in alignment with overall corporate objectives.
∎ 3. Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.
∎ 4. Guide the Finance team to manage Financial reporting with remarks and MIS.

∎ Financial Management
∎ 1. Cash flow and treasury controls, loan payment, and minimizing fund cost.
∎ 2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes across the Group.
∎ 3. Product Costing and cost control through cost management.
∎ 4. Annual CapEx and OpEx budget and budgetary control through variance analysis, performance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
∎ 5. Monitor and manage financial risks while ensuring adequate internal controls.
∎ 6. Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting to stakeholders.

∎ Corporate Governance & Compliance
∎ 1. Establish a strong internal control system by performing internal and external audits at the right time and right manner. Developing policy, procedure, system & software integration.
∎ 2. Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
∎ 3. Implement and uphold strong governance practices within financial operations.

∎ Investment and Funding Management
∎ 1. Assess and manage the Group's investment portfolio, ensuring high returns while mitigating risks.
∎ 2. Evaluate and secure funding options for business expansion and capital projects.
∎ 3. Communicate and develop relationships with Banks, and NBFIs for finance.
∎
∎ Income Tax and VAT Management
∎ 1. Develop and manage the company’s Income Tax & VAT strategy to ensure it aligns with business goals and complies with local laws.
∎ 2.  Monitor the submission of Income Tax and VAT returns by the stipulated time. Establish processes to gather all the necessary data and document it for future reference.
∎ 3. Identify tax-related risks and create mitigation plans occasionally with changes in facial laws.
∎ 4. Address the legal litigation appropriately to avoid improper tax risk/burden with the NBR.
∎ 5. Maintaining coordination with NBR, Tax & VAT consultants and other external stakeholders.

∎ 1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple business units.
∎ 2. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
∎ 3. Drive collaboration between finance and other departments to ensure alignment of objectives.

∎ Industry Acumen
∎ 1. Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and economic conditions to inform financial decisions.
∎ 2. Monitor and manage costs associated with manufacturing, inventory, and distribution.
