∎ Ability to work effectively under both line and matrix management structures, demonstrating conscientiousness and efficiency in meeting deadlines and achieving results.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and project reporting system under the guidance of the AWRTI central MEAL team.
∎ Design and implement tailored reporting formats, M&E tools, and data collection strategies to meet project needs.
∎ Conduct regular field visits to assess progress and ensure activities align with project plans.
∎ Provide feedback and support to program teams to maintain activity quality and consistency.
∎ Oversee the implementation of project work plans, tracking activity timelines and quality standards.
∎ Report on activity timeliness and quality, comparing actual progress against targets and indicators.
∎ Contribute to drafting project reports by summarizing findings from monitoring and evaluation efforts.
∎ Prepare comprehensive monitoring reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual updates.
∎ Maintain updated project records, including data, lessons learned, case studies, and best practices, and share insights with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Develop and maintain activity databases for accurate data tracking and regular updates using the ODK Platform.
∎ Implement an organized document management system for easy access to project documents.
∎ Plan, conduct, or supervise surveys, assessments, and evaluations to measure project outcomes and effectiveness.
∎ Coordinate with the project team to uphold reporting standards and monitor progress across levels.
∎ Provide timely feedback to ensure project alignment with goals and quality standards.
∎ Foster coordination with stakeholders to establish mechanisms supporting women’s access to rights.

∎ Job Context:
∎ The Association for Community Development (ACD) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Monitoring Officer to support its project, Advancing Women’s Right of Access to Information in Bangladesh. This project is focused on empowering marginalized women, particularly those from the Dalit community, by enhancing their knowledge of the right to information and working closely with government and local organizations to increase awareness of this right. The Monitoring Officer will play a key role in ensuring the project’s impact, contributing to a future where public service delivery agencies are more transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of the poor, marginalized women, and socially excluded groups. The role involves working with community leaders and stakeholders to promote the use of the right to information, aiming to transform lives and improve access to essential services.
