Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strategically manage investment in Treasury Bills, Bonds, FDRs, Shares etc. after evaluating terms & conditions of the security, profitability and liquidity.
∎ Evaluate demand and supply of money markets, internal & external business risk.
∎ Strategically determine loan financing requirements for existing and proposed social business operations, evaluate cost of financing from term loan, SOD, COD, LTR, BG, LC etc.
∎ Evaluate forecasted revenue, Profit & Loss, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and cash flows of proposed and BMRE of existing social business projects to assess the financial & economic viability.
∎ Review and analyze strategic business planning and frame annual budgets & forecast in collaboration with senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Monitor budget utilization and provide regular updates to management, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
∎ Overall responsible for SBU wise and consolidated financial statements review in compliance with IAS, IFRS, FRC, Trust Act, Companies Act, Tax Law, VAT Law and other relevant laws and regulations.
∎ Evaluate cost structure and analyze of proposed and existing products and services.
∎ Maintain liaison with subsidiary and other related companies.
∎ Develop automated computerized and digital accounting and financial systems for smooth business operation.
∎ Ensure compliance of TDS, VDS, Advance Income Tax, Custom duties.
∎ Ensure submission of Income Tax Return, deals with Tax Appeal, Tribunal and Reference cases in order to minimize risk and maximize benefit within the Tax & Vat Laws.
∎ Guide for preparation & review board meeting working papers, proposed agenda etc. on a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Follow up and ensure execution of board decisions on a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.
∎ Coordinate with internal audit and ensure submission of audit findings to the board and take initiative to solve the findings on a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit is completed within the time frame and take initiative to solve the audit findings on a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Portfolio Investment Management
