∎ Ability to convey information in an insightful and structured manner, both in written and oral presentations.
∎ Excellent communication skills and reporting in English required.
∎ Experience in networking, advocacy, and community mobilization.
∎ Knowledge and experience on program planning, activities and project cycle.
∎ Conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines and achieving results.
∎ Strong ability to work in a team and be supportive to others’ efforts and work.
∎ Consultative and collaborative approach to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
∎ Strong knowledge on Microsoft Office specially Office, Excel, Power Point, etc.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide strategic direction, oversight and leadership to project staffs to manage the project.
∎ Conduct risks, safeguarding and data protection assessments.
∎ Translation of the toolkit.
∎ Identify and present the project to selected decision and policy makers at local and national levels.
∎ Select and train adults as support workers to the children engaged, including setting rigorous safeguarding standards.
∎ Consultation with children, develop criteria for selection of communities and children.
∎ Reach out /come up with an engagement strategy to reach out to interested children.
∎ Select and train children as leaders of change.
∎ Organize preparation sessions with child leaders ahead of the data collection exercise.
∎ Support children to conduct child-led peer to peer data collection.
∎ Facilitate regular online exchange of experiences, learning, space and dialogue.
∎ Participatory analysis of findings and constructive dialogues with duty bearers.
∎ Facilitate children to develop interventions to address the issues identified and come with advocacy plan.
∎ Coordinate with local stakeholders who participated in the consultation/workshop to endorse the project outcomes.
∎ Arrange consultations with religious leaders, local elected representatives, local elites and social leaders for ensuring essential services and protection for children and survivors.
∎ Maintain coordination with project team and overseeing the work at different level.
∎ Ensure the quality and impact of the program and ensuring that gender equity is addressed.
∎ Represent the program at meetings, workshops and training with stakeholders for effective dialogue and advocacy at district, Upazila and Union level.
∎ Ensuring that project activities are implemented according to established project principles with adequate children’s participation.
∎ Maintain liaison with government departments, community based child protection committee, local elected bodies, and relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate mechanisms.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report and case studies as per deadlines.
∎ Job Context: Association for Community Development (ACD) is looking for a suitable candidate to for its project “Children Know Better – Making child participation the key to improving effectiveness of action against sexual exploitation of children”. The Project Coordinator is the key responsible person for implementing any project and it is a managerial position with strong leadership, management, coordination, and reporting skills. The overall outcome expected from the programme includes: (i) Children feel empowered, confident and competent to lead changes to address child sexual exploitation, (ii) duty bearers value children's leadership and integrate their views and contribution in addressing sexual exploitation of children.
