Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare, analyze and report daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by order by customer.
∎ Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward
∎ Assisting Plant Manager in preparing production schedule and reporting to top management on daily basis.
∎ Preparing budget for every order well in advance and submitting the same to Chief Accountant/ Top management.
∎ Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories
∎ Calculate and monitor standard costs for inventory valuation, project estimating and job costing purposes. Review stock aging for determination of obsolete and/or excess inventory write off.
∎ Create and distribute detailed monthly job cost reports to Plant Manager/ Top Management which include actual and estimated costs to-date as well as projections to complete.
∎ Analyze factory overhead cost drivers and develop a methodology for allocating these costs to specific jobs. Monitor actual versus absorbed factory overhead on a monthly basis and together with the Chief Accountant, determine if the allocation methodology should be adjusted.
∎ Provide support to other functional areas of the Company:
∎ Manufacturing -works with the plant manager and production staff to identify cost savings projects, analyzes and forecasts the impact on the cost structure if implemented, and assists in the development of the business case-cost-benefit analysis for capital investments
∎ Inventory Control -investigates inventory adjustments resulting from periodic cycle counts and annual physical inventory
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 5 or more years of related experience
∎ Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting Standards
∎ Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software (payroll, attendance etc) to enable efficient data gathering and analysis
∎ Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
∎ Good written and verbal communication including collaborative skills
∎ Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
∎ Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves
∎ Apparel industry washing plant background
∎ Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
