∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Interpretation of yarn and textile specifications.
∎ Basic textile training machine adjustments and fabric constructions.
∎ Quality Process and Textile Defect Library.
∎ Knowledge of the Matrix & JDE system.
∎ Knowledge and resolution of textile defects (with advanced knowledge in the weaving area).
∎ Advanced knowledge about yarns (Technologies, gauges, behavior, defects).
∎ Textile product development knowledge.
∎ Interpretation of yarn and textile specifications.
∎ Knowledge of adjustment and settings of Knitting Machines.
∎ Knowledge in textile fabric construction.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and develop the team in charge to ensure quality in the execution of activities, execution criteria, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
∎ Direct the correct execution of validation activities for new yarns/new styles in accordance with the procedures established for the entire team involved, and train and reinforce strategies to improve the flow of information in all areas.
∎ Follow up and monitor the Non-conformities resulting from the validation batches, confirm with the entire technical and Quality team if they are approved, rejected or new tests are run.
∎ Weekly review with the Procurement, Planning, and Technical team of the status of validations in progress, defining priorities, critical programs, etc.
∎ Follow up on full compliance with the necessary information of all areas involved in the validations, and prepare reports consolidating the information to manage the approval of the corresponding managers.
∎ Coordinate tests with the Textile technical team to solve problems or improve existing styles; ensure completion of said tests and provide final results.
∎ Responsible for coordinating the correct assembly and knitting of the fabrics requested for product development. (FTR/FVR).
∎ Monitoring of yarn inventory outside the system for product development (SKUs not created).
∎ Coordinate audits/studies of yarn losses or gains, and monthly review with the Planning team.
∎ Organize training, training, and any other professional training and/or knowledge event to raise the skills of the personnel under your charge.
∎ Maintain updated information regarding validations, Developments, and audits through tools such as shared folders, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and any other tool within the company's platforms.
∎ Provide metrics for the results of yarn validations and audits, analyze trends by SKU, and suppliers distribute them to the group of interested parties.
