Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• Bachelor’s degree in CSE, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

• Certification in WordPress development will be a plus.

Experience

• 1 to 2 years

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): E-commerce,E-commerce Startup,F-commerce

Additional Requirements

• Age 24 to 32 years

• 1 to 2 years of experience in WordPress development.

• Strong portfolio of previous WordPress projects.

• Expertise in WordPress themes, plugins, and custom coding.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, and Divi.

• Understanding of UX/UI principles for responsive design.

• Ability to troubleshoot WordPress errors and debug PHP issues.

• Experience with Git, version control, and deployment processes.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

WordPress Development & Customization:

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and child themes.

• Modify existing themes to match design requirements.

• Convert PSD/Figma/Adobe XD designs into WordPress themes.

Plugin Management & Customization:

• Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins as per project needs.

• Develop custom plugins to extend WordPress functionality.

E-Commerce & WooCommerce:

• Set up and customize WooCommerce stores, including payment gateway integration.

• Optimize WooCommerce performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Implement product filtering, variations, and checkout customizations.

Website Performance Optimization:

• Optimize website speed using caching, image optimization, and lazy loading techniques.

• Minimize CSS, JavaScript, and reduce server requests.

• Implement Content Delivery Network (CDN) for better performance.

Security & Maintenance:

• Implement security best practices to protect websites from malware and hacking.

• Regularly update themes, plugins, and WordPress core.

• Set up automated website backups and recovery plans.

Custom Functionality & API Integration:

• Develop and integrate REST APIs with WordPress for third-party applications.

• Work with JSON, AJAX, and API authentication methods.

• Implement custom forms, user roles, and permissions.

SEO & Digital Marketing Integration:

• Implement technical SEO strategies (meta tags, schema markup, sitemaps, etc.).

• Ensure website is optimized for search engines (on-page SEO).

• Work with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Facebook Pixel.

Database & Server Management:

• Manage MySQL databases for WordPress websites.

• Troubleshoot server-related issues and handle migrations.

• Set up and manage domain, hosting, and SSL certificates.
