Responsibilities & Context:

A reputed 100% export-oriented knit garments manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Welfare Officer to ensure employee well-being, maintain effective communication between workers and management, and support compliance with labor laws and buyer requirements.

  • Maintain strong communication with workers to understand and resolve workplace concerns.

  • Handle employee grievances, complaints, and disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner.

  • Conduct counseling sessions to improve employee morale, motivation, and workplace behavior.

  • Organize awareness programs on labor law, workplace safety, health, and hygiene.

  • Coordinate worker welfare activities, including recreation, engagement programs, and motivational initiatives.

  • Assist in implementing Bangladesh Labor Law and buyer compliance requirements.

  • Support maternity benefit management, childcare center monitoring, and female worker welfare.

  • Prepare and maintain welfare-related reports, records, and documentation.

  • Liaise with HR, Compliance, and Production departments to ensure a positive working environment.

  • Monitor absenteeism, turnover, and employee satisfaction, and recommend improvement actions.

  • Participate in audits and ensure proper welfare-related compliance standards.
