Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to manage and maintain a portfolio websites and handle social media account setup and ongoing posting.

This role focuses on keeping websites updated, creating branded social media profiles (Facebook, X/Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn), and sharing website URLs through well-written social media posts with relevant images designed in Canva.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, process-driven, and comfortable handling repetitive tasks at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Rank & Rent Website Maintenance

• Maintain and update a portfolio of Rank & Rent websites (bulk sites)

• Add and edit content pages as needed (service pages, location pages, basic content updates)

• Update site elements such as images, headings, internal links, and menus (when required)

• Ensure all websites are clean, functional, and visually professional

• Perform basic SEO hygiene tasks, including:

  • Meta titles and meta descriptions

  • Image alt text

  • Proper formatting and structure

Social Media Account Setup & Management

• Create social media accounts for each website on:

  • Facebook

  • X (Twitter)

  • Pinterest

  • LinkedIn

• Set up profiles with correct branding, including:

  • Logo and cover/banner images

  • Business description

  • Website URL

  • Consistent brand details

• Maintain a tracking sheet with:

  • Login credentials

  • Profile URLs

  • Account status and notes

Social Media Posting & Content Creation (Canva + URL Sharing)

• Create “social-worthy” posts to promote each website URL

• Design simple, branded images in Canva (templates will be provided or can be reused)

• Post consistently across social platforms with:

  • Relevant and well-written captions

  • Appropriate hashtags (when applicable)

  • Website URL included in each post

• Repurpose content across platforms while keeping posts platform-appropriate

Ideal Candidate

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Comfortable following processes and handling repetitive tasks

• Familiar with basic website editing (WordPress preferred)

• Comfortable using Canva for simple graphic designs

• Basic understanding of SEO and social media best practices

• Reliable, consistent, and able to manage work at scale

Salary/Compensation Details:

We will pay 5,000 per site for setting up all social media accounts and posts. This includes account setup for 4 platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Pinterest, and LinkedIn or Instagram), as well as fixing any issues with existing website posts related to blog post ideas.

This is a straightforward task and should not take more than 7–8 hours to complete per site. We have 10+ sites, and this is an ongoing requirement. Successful completion of this project will lead to future work opportunities.
