∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering / Water Resource Management Engineering.

Job Context:
∎ Provision of life - saving WASH services to the Rohingya refugee population in Ukhiya Upazila, Cox`s Bazar District.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until January 31, 2023.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare drawing, design, and construction or up gradation of different types of water infrastructure as well as collaborative work with procurement to support quotations collection, quotation evaluation etc.
∎ Technical supervision and crosschecking of Water infrastructure construction materials before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ Maintain liaise with Camp focal agency with other government and non-governmental stakeholders as required.
∎ Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly implementation plan and ensure effective implementation of the WASH services following the work plan through necessary guidance by the supervisor and track the results of project implementation.
∎ Preparation of report of weekly, monthly and quarterly progress and also any necessary assessment, case study report.
∎ Designing technical curriculum, lesson plans, modules, standard operational produce and handouts for technical skill training related to water supply and sanitation technologies.
∎ Prepare drawing, design & BOQ according to national and international standard and following the core humanitarian standard, Gender and social inclusion etc.
∎ Overall supervision of different Water infrastructures for construction, up gradation and rehabilitation as well as collaborative work with logistic/ procurement.
∎ Checking the attendance of Volunteers, Preparing the muster roll of volunteers, preparing the attendance formal of volunteers.
∎ Work as technical team member of procurement committee to review quotation, selecting materials form sample and briefing work procedure to the vendor.
∎ Assist Technical Manager Water & sanitation to prepare budget, proposal, strategy, plan etc.
∎ Review the existing technologies and analyzing the better performance
∎ Determination of the vulnerability, effectiveness and the technical and financial aspects of those technologies by conducting feasibility study
∎ Necessary modification of the existing water technologies to make it more robust in terms of different vulnerabilities of the project areas
∎ Facilitate donor and sectorial expert field visit.
∎ Assist to plan the activities according to the project document.
∎ Assist in project activities implementation and prepare activity reports weekly, biweekly monthly and quarterly.
∎ Asst. to prepare monitoring tools according to the project indicators
∎ Assist project team by ensuring proper WASH services in designated area.
∎ Perform other duties relevant to the project as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability-Computer skills (Have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Water GEMS, EPANET, Compass Software GIS, MS Office).
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and in response to changing needs.
∎ Have better understanding on WASH sector standard.
∎ Experience of facilitating community participation in WASH and community-based infrastructure development.
∎ Good written and spoken in English is essential.

Salary: Tk. 80992 (Monthly)
