Responsibilities & Context:

• Assist the Project Officer in planning, designing, and implementing WASH interventions as per the project plan and technical standards.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation/construction, functionality, and safety of WASH facilities.

• Track WASH activity progress and collecting performance data from the field.

• Maintain accurate documentation and assist in compiling daily, weekly, and monthly progress updates.

• Contribute to field-level assessments and provide input for project reports, highlighting challenges and recommendations.

• Support beneficiary selection, community feedback documentation, and verification of intervention areas.

• Coordinate between field teams, community groups, and camp-level stakeholders.

• Assist to liaise with site management, partner agencies, and technical units for joint activity implementation and problem resolution.

• Support community-based WASH committees in operational planning, facility management, and maintenance awareness.

• Organize WASH user group training, meetings and conduct various campaigns in camps or in host community as per project requirement.

• Assess the needs and resources required for WASH interventions and plan for an appropriate integrated response and community engagement.

• Assessment of the suitable site selection for WASH interventions.

• Use participatory approaches as far as possible throughout the program cycle, in training, and in the use of toolkits and other materials.

  Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
