Experience:

M.Sc / B.Sc in Civil Engineering / Civil & Environment Engineering / Water Resource / Sanitation Engineering.

• Age At most 40 years

· Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including WaSH intervention in emergency/humanitarian situation.

·  Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel and project management software).

. Fluency in English and Bangla; knowledge of Rohingya/Chittagonian dialect is an asset.

The proposed position of WASH Engineer is required to fulfill the operational and to expedite the implementation of the newly awarded IRC -supported project, ensuring timely implementation, accountability, and achievement of the project’s intended outcomes.

·      Assist the Project Manager in overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project.

·    Drawing, design, and construction or rehabilitation of different types of WASH facilities as well as collaborative work with logistic/procurement to support quotations collection, quotation evaluation, contractor selection, contracts signing, orders, work order issue and purchases.

·   Technical supervision and cross-checking of relevant hardware construction materials before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.

·  Responsible for feasibility survey, design, prepare the estimation of quantities and cost detailed drawings and other necessary documents of relevant construction works.

·    Maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show a status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at store and construction site.

·   Support the Project Manager in preparing monthly progress report(s).
