Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum SSC.
Job Context:
∎ Helps patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and providing comfort.
∎ Duty Station: Ukhiya- ITC, Bangladesh
∎ Report To: Matron
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest
∎ Contract length: Up to 30th September, 2022 (With possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the guidance of the Matron, the Ward Attendant will be responsible for-
∎
∎ Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
∎ Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
∎ Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
∎ Ensure patients' security and safety under supervision of and consultation with nurses and nurse leads
∎ Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
∎ Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
∎ Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
∎ Serves and protects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal.
∎ Enhances nursing department and hospital reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one Gross salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly Gross salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
