Education:
∎ Bachelor’s / Diploma in Civil Engineering Candidate must have certification of CBT&A Pedagogy level-4 (Assessor and Trainer) with skill level- 1 and 2 at occupation of plumbing and Concreter.

∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 03 years of professional experience in Technical Vocational Training as Supervisor particularly in plumbing and concreter.
∎ Demonstrated experience in National Qualification Framework and National Skills Certificate (NSC) are required.
∎ Knowledge on National Skills Standards Authority (NSSA) would be an asset Experience in NSC course delivery and assessment through certified assessor
∎ Knowledge of Rohingya dialect is preferable.
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
∎ Willingness and ability to work in hardship environments
∎ Advance skill in computer literacy.
∎ Presentation Skill.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are implementing a multi-year skills development project as part of a joint Initiative of a consortium in the refugee camps of Cox's Bazar. The project has a target to reach around of 1000 participants (50 percent women) for vocational skills training which will be selected across the camps considering the suitability, capacity and availability of home/community facilities for training. The target of 2,000 has been selected according to the prequalification requirement for the vocational training.
∎ The Project ultimately aims to assist refugees to acquire transferable and portable skills relevant to the labour market needs in Myanmar and the camp contexts, that would support sustainable return and integration (in Myanmar) when conditions permit; while enabling refugees to maintain hope for the future and have dignified and productive lives in the camps, including through engagement in multi-sectorial camp-based activities, minor livelihood activities, and community works, with the utilization of acquired competencies. Accordingly, strategies will be geared towards enhancing skills development, economic and social empowerment, self-reliance of the Rohingya refugees pending durable solutions.
∎ Key Duties & Responsibilities:
∎ Work under the technical guidance of Vocational Training Specialist to implement hands-on-training on the approved curricula.
∎ Maintain Training Record Book.
∎ Facilitate external certified Assessors to assess the skills of the participants.
∎ Follow up and guide the participants to pass the selected course.
∎ Organize and facilitate practical session as described by the curricular.
∎ Participate in focus group discussions to collect baseline data, build rapport with the community and obtain information to implement self-reliance activities.
∎ Ensure logistics support during training.
∎ Participate regularly in the self-reliance activities such as training & production setup and smooth operation of training centres.
∎ Participate in appropriate in-service and workshop programs and attend any required meetings.
∎ Any other duties & responsibilities assigned by Project Management Unit.
