Alam Ecological Farming is seeking a dedicated and passionate Veterinary Officer to support the health, welfare, and productivity of our livestock.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall health and well-being of livestock through preventive and curative veterinary care.

• Diagnose, treat, and manage animal diseases and health conditions.

• Develop and implement vaccination, deworming, and biosecurity programs.

• Monitor livestock nutrition, breeding, and reproductive health.

• Maintain accurate veterinary records and prepare health reports.

• Advise farm management on animal health, disease prevention, and best farming practices.

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and regulatory authorities when required.

• Ensure compliance with animal welfare standards and applicable veterinary regulations.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from a recognized university.

• Registration with the Bangladesh Veterinary Council (preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in livestock health management or commercial farming. Fresh graduates with exceptional academic credentials may also apply.

• Candidates with prior experience working in the Livestock Department (government or related agencies) will be given preference.

• Sound knowledge of livestock disease prevention, treatment protocols, and farm biosecurity.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work at our farm in Bikrampur, Munshiganj.
