∎ Commerce. We operate a global technology-enabled sourcing business, and the largest B2B marketplace for fashion in South and Southeast Asia, which connects yarn mills, fabric mills, factories, brands and merchants through a discovery and transaction platform.
∎ Services (Saas, MaaS, Fintech). We develop and deploy Software as a Service to factories and brands to help improve operational efficiency; help brands and factories enhance branding Marketing as a Service; and use technology to connect makers and merchants with access to working capital.
∎ Sustainability. We provide brands with transparency into the sustainability of their supply chain. We also bring sustainable fabric and recycling to global brands, and are launching a Sustainability Fund which enables factories to improve sustainability with investment.
∎ Job Overview/Purpose: As a Vendor Management Head you are expected to maintain good relationships with the business entities and onboard new entities to expand business in the respective geography. Work on the progress along with the existing team and smoothen the process by coordinating and understanding current business practices and recommend better practices for required output.
∎ Reports To: VP - Textiles & Apparels
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Evaluating the complete line of developments and steering cost analysis and business planning.
∎ Proposing new factories and steering the onboarding process for the same as per the product/cost, compliance requirements and other needs
∎ Coordinating with cross-functional teams like Planning, Creative, Marketing, Finance; Assisting sales staff and management with customer service by placing special orders as well as providing information on availability and product
∎ Identifying and developing vendor sources for achieving cost-effective purchases of raw materials
∎ Developing marketing plans to build consumer preference and drive volumes; evaluating marketing budgets periodically, including manpower planning initiatives and ensuring adherence to planned expenses
Additional Requirements:
∎ Work experience for 10 years in the Textile and Buying industry.
∎ Product and Industry knowledge is mandatory
∎ Must have good Communications skills and command over English as well as local language
∎ Must be self-motivated, open mind, team oriented, have a collaborative approach to creative development and possess a positive attitude
∎ Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure
