Educational Requirements:
∎ SSC
∎ Minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC)
∎ Affiliated training course on EPI by Upzilla Health Complex
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Safely provide immunizations to infants, children and adults according to formal EPI protocols and schedule.
∎ Assist pharmacy and clinical managers to make sure there is adequate daily and general supply of vaccines.
∎ Secure vaccines within required cold chain.
∎ Provide education to patients and community about the purpose of vaccines, risks, benefits, expected side effects, and need for follow-up vaccinations
∎ Act as the main focal point for the vaccines supply/cold chain from the Government and make sure RI's clinics doesn't have shortage in vaccines.
∎ Maintain registry of patient information including vaccines received, timeline for follow up vaccines, and side effects / adverse reactions
∎ Assist Disease Surveillance Officers and Registrars to compile vaccine-related data for government and donor reporting
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven training from health facility on vaccination and EPI
∎ Previous experience as Vaccinator
∎ Clear style of giving instructions
∎ Gentle with children; honed technique for giving immunizations
∎ Literate in spoken and written English
∎ Able to persistently and effectively tackle complex problems
∎ Able to work with a variety of people in a remote setting
∎ Independent, self-motivated, confident, interested in learning and committed to excellence
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
