Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate and plan with technical supports to Chattogram City Corporation Health department to ensure delivery of minimum package of service delivery (Maternal and Child Nutrition and Adolescent Nutrition) in targeted slums under Ward-17, 18, 19 and Ward-20 in collaboration and coordination with City Corporation Nutrition Focal and Program Coordinator, CODEC.
∎ Develop ward level action plans on monthly and quarterly basis, update targets and implement action plan accordingly in collaboration with City Corporation and Project Coordinator, CODEC.
∎ Ensure all targeted Pregnant and Lactating women receiving IFA supplementation, IYCF counseling in urban slum areas and at urban health facilities under City Corporation.
∎ Coordinate with urban nutrition partners for mainstreaming nutrition services in slums and reporting. Support City Corporation focal person for organizing meetings with urban nutrition partners on nutrition MIS and reporting etc.
∎ Ensure all nutrition services are available and utilized in targeted urban health facilities under City Corporation in Ward-17, 18, 19 and ward-20.
∎ Ensure technical supports for ensuring IYCF and other nutrition counseling for pregnant women and lactating women, GMP for under five children, MNP supplementation for 6-23 months children, screening and referral of acutely malnourished children to SAM facilities, Adolescent nutrition etc by urban nutrition promoters and adolescent peer leaders.
∎ Provide technical support and maintain coordination to strengthen urban MIS in collaboration and coordination with City Corporation and UNICEF MIS team.
∎ Facilitate trainings and extensive monitoring of implementation at slum level (2 visits/weak) and visit to urban health facility (one facility/week).
∎ Visit urban health facilities to monitor UNICEF supported nutrition activities, coverage, compliance and quality and report back to City Corporation, CODEC and UNICEF.
∎ Build capacity of service providers of CODEC and City Corporation and other urban nutrition service providers and provide technical support on a regular basis.
∎ Maintain continuous liaison and functional networking with all development partners i.e. City Corporation, GOB, NGOs, communities and others for ensuring program convergence and coordination at implementation level.
∎ Ensure referral linkage development and supply chain management including availability and use of supplies and IEC materials.
∎ Ensure monthly progress report with analysis and share with CODEC and City Corporation on regular basis.
∎ Organize and facilitate monthly meeting with UNPs and other relevant sectors supported by UNICEF and CODEC.
∎ Support Govt/MoHFW, City Corporation for observation of national events-NVAC, National Nutrition Week, Breast Feeding Week etc.
∎ 50% of time will spent working directly with Chattogram City Corporation focal person based at General Hospital as Nutrition Focal in City Corporation already agreed to provide a work station for UNF.
∎ Develop union level action plans on monthly and quarterly basis and contribute in annual planning.
∎ Any other responsibility may be assigned by Program Coordinator as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Working with nutrition project at least 2 to 3 years

Salary: Tk. 28000 (Monthly)
