Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is an inheritor of DANIDA Bangladesh derived from couple of project intervention explicitly DANIDA Boat Building Project and Boat Rental Scheme. CODEC has been working as a people centered development organization since 1985.
∎ CODEC has been growing and evolving into efficient and effective non-governmental development organization in the coastal area of Bangladesh.
∎ From the beginning of its development intervention CODEC started its activities only with the fisherfolk communities but over the period CODEC now extended its working area with other disadvantaged coastal communities along with the fisherfolk community in the exposed coastal districts in Bangladesh.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the following positions from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for our ESHO SHIKHI ("Come and Learn") Project located at 23 Upazila under 5 districts: Pirojpur, Patuakhali, Chattogram, Cox`s Bazar and Bagerhat.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate achievement of programmatic objectives IR 1, IR 2, IR 3 and IR 4.
∎ Plan, implement and liaison relevant Esho Shikhi activities in the Upazila and school level.
∎ Coordinate regular planning, accountability and follow up of key performance indicators and overall quality education access and assurance matters
∎ Necessary & effective coordination with GO, NGOs, Ups, Donors and relevant stakeholders
∎ Prepare qualitative periodical report & documents of the project.
∎ Provide necessary guidance to field staffs on social accountability, gender, livelihood graduation activities and associated tools & techniques.
∎ Review of progress/DIPs, budget Utilization and ensure approval and endorsement of all plans
∎ Coordinate regular planning, accountability and follow up of key performance indicators and overall quality education access and assurance matters
∎ Prepare plan for training, school level events and school level data collection in consultation with URC, UEO and head teachers.
∎ Oversee and monitor all field level activities and will provide information required by the central level Esho Shikhi project. Prepare qualitative and quantitative periodical report & documents of the project.
∎ Provide necessary supporton social accountability, gender and disability inclusion activities
∎ Share the update project information with the project management and receive necessary feedback/suggestion to implement the project effectively.
∎ Collect and verify all upazila level expenditures/ expenses (training, workshop etc.) and ensure the supply of required documents to central level Esho Shikhi team.
∎ Representing Esho Shikhi at upazila level monthly meeting with head teachers, UEO, AUEO and URC Instructors.
∎ Necessary & effective coordination with GO, NGOs, Ups, Donors and relevant stakeholders
∎ Maintain appropriate and organized files and documentation

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Target school community engagement/Awareness and close coordination with quality enhancement committee
∎ Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Strong communication skills with Gob level spokesperson/officer
∎ Sound knowledge of early grade reading, teacher training, student assessment, mentoring, community engagement etc.
∎ Should have experience in community mobilization, education in emergencies
∎ Maintain regular liaison as well as to help program personnel to establish working relationship among GoB, Local Administration, and Private Sector at upazila level.
∎ Working Upazila will be 23 upazila: Bhandaria, Kaukhali, Mothbaria,Pirojpur Sadar, Zianagar, Kalapara, Rangabali, Golachipa, Mirzagonj, Anwara, Banshkhali,Patiya, Chakaria, Maheshkhali, Pekua, Bagerhat Sadar, Chitalmari, Fakirhat, Kachua, Mollarhat, Mongla, Rampal, Sarankhola.

Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
