Experience:
3+ years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and duties in programs focused on organizational development in the Bangladeshi context
Capacity building of the team members
Maintain close communication with FIVDB team
Maintain relationship with other FIVDB programmes in the project sites
Conduct essential assessment and knowledge product development.
Knowledge:
Understanding of disaster risk reduction (DRR) principles and practices.
Familiarity with livelihoods restoration strategies and community development frameworks.
Knowledge of hydrometeorological hazards and their impact on communities.
Awareness of climate-adaptive practices and sustainable livelihoods.
Familiarity with early warning systems and forecasting methodologies.
Skills
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including community members, local authorities, and NGOs.
Proficiency in data analysis and GIS mapping tools for risk assessment.
Ability to develop training materials and conduct workshops effectively.
Competency in using digital platforms for information dissemination and community engagement.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and have impact on input on program indicators.

Job Context:
The project is designed in a comprehensive way to help the vulnerable community being prepared, assisting them with support before the disaster occurs, building their capacity in climate resilient livelihood, piloting the climate risk insurance as a risk transfer mechanism and strengthening the risk reduction platforms. The project will follow WFP’s Integrated Risk Management (IRM) approach. Anticipatory action is an effective way to support vulnerable communities before a hazard strikes, by using forecasts and early warning systems to trigger pre-agreed actions and funding. Project Duration- February 2025 to September 2025 (08 months)
Job Responsibilities:
Setting up operational plan for the filed level programme activities.
Community mobilization, formulation/reactivation/facilitation of participants.
Programme participants selection according to the criteria.
Provide services to the targeted communities within the limited timeframe.
Perform awareness raising and capacity building activities
Distribution of cash grants and IEC materials for climate adaptive activities
Keep continuous and strong communication with GoB and other relevant stakeholders to ensure delivery of the programme outputs at field level.
Develop strategic partnership and networks with the relevant stakeholders at field level.
Provide support in overall implementation, monitoring and reporting of field level programme activities.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Maintaining compliance and ensuring quality of the project activities.
