Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Lab Technician, preferably in a healthcare setting with limited resources (e.g., refugee or low-resource environments).

Skills & Competencies:

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing.

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in testing and record-keeping.

• Teamwork: Ability to work well with other healthcare professionals.

• Communication: Clear communication of test results and information.

Position Overview:

The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing medical tests and supporting healthcare services at the health post. This role is essential to provide important medical services to the displaced Rohingya community and help improve their health and well-being.

3. Ensure the accuracy of test results by following laboratory protocols and quality control standards.

4. Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information, ensuring confidentiality.

5. Regularly check and clean laboratory equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.

6. Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

7. Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other staff to provide accurate test results for patient care.

8. Stay updated with the latest laboratory practices and technologies through training and professional development.

9. Any other assigned work by supervisor.
