• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Muslim Hands International, Bangladesh is registered with the Bureau of NGO Affairs working in different sectors i.e. education, WASH, health, livelihood, child protection, poverty alleviation and disaster relief program since 1995. Our donor Muslim Hands UK is an international relief and development NGO, established in 1993 working both directly and with partners in over forty countries, carrying out short and long-term projects in emergency relief, educational and vocational training, orphan sponsorship, medical care and safe water. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Paramedic is responsible for the delivery of basic nursing care and support the implementation of the Muslim Hands Primary healthcare activities in the Rohingya Refugee Camp, Cox’s Bazar.

• Apply nursing knowledge and skills to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of emergency and primary healthcare problems.

• Provide health promotion and counseling to patients and caregivers.

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of patient information and consultations in relevant patient register and facilitate the timely submission of require health reports.

• Delivery of hygiene promotion, health education and patient/care giver counseling.

• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures.

• Ensure accurate recording of information in the clinic registers and timely completion of summary reports.

• Ensure patient confidentiality is respected and that all consultations are conducted in a dignified and respectful manner.

• Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promotion a strong team spirit and provide guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.

• Ensure regular inventory and consumption tracking of medical drugs and supplies.

• Ensure all patient consultations are documented and patient records completed.

• Submit to daily reports to supervisor in a timely manner.

• Spread the good word about MH work by establishing contact communication channels including information sharing with other partners.
