Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters Degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Forestry, Social Science or related subject.

Job Context:
∎ Project Summary: PCRCB Project is being implemented to enhance their resilience by focusing on (i) Reducing climate risk at community level through awareness raising, agricultural/water/structural adaptation efforts, skill development and less vulnerable AIGA support (ii) Capacity development of the local community organization for their sustainability and (iii) scaling up the resilience building approach.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ a) provide leadership and management support to the upazila team members for achieving project goal and objectives;
∎ b) manage human resources, manage financial and material resources sent and used;
∎ c) support and ensure organizational policy, mission and vision as well as gender norms and values and adhered to;
∎ d) organize and implement plans and activities along working with the upazila team members within the allocated resources;
∎ e) coordinate and ensure different guidelines and program strategies are implemented;
∎ f) provide training and mentoring to upazila staff team members for enhancing their capacities;
∎ g) monitor project progress and financial expenses as planned with high level of quality and accountability;
∎ h) network, advocate and lobby at national and international organizations;
∎ i) prepare progress reports regularly on program and financial issues for CCDB, Government Offices and Donor partners;
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulating plan and budget for smooth project implementation
∎ Training, mentoring and counseling staff team members for enhancing their capacity and ability to achieve project goal and objectives.
∎ Taking actions for building capacity of communities and families or individuals in the project selected areas.
∎ Raising awareness of the staff members and communities in selected areas, for preserving the ecosystem and climate change adaptation measures.
∎ Guiding staff members and community members in implementing of food security and livelihood programs.
∎ Ensuring community based health-nutrition actions.
∎ Ensuring equal participation of men and women in program activities for mainstreaming gender into the family and communities.
∎ Advocating and lobbying at community, local and district level on climate change issues.
∎ Managing human resources, financial resources, office and administration.
∎ Managing material resources procured and distributed and retained
∎ Maintaining relation with different stakeholders and building a good image of the organization.
∎ Monitoring program activities and financial resources and preparing reports, documentation and publication
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Minimum Five Years of working experience in similar type of position in development sector focusing on climate change adaptation, community resilience building at local level. Managing staff and office independently for operating a diversified program. Understanding and experience in the area of livelihood, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation. Skills in participatory planning, budgeting, implementing and monitoring of project activities at grass-root level with knowledge in using PRA tools and techniques.
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 45000 (Monthly)
