Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Education Module Development & Policy Engagement:
∎ Lead the design, development, and dissemination of interactive learning modules for primary school students.
∎ Organize national-level sharing meetings with policy/decision-makers to promote education and environmental strategies.
∎ Plan and oversee mangrove plantation activities, including gap filling and fencing in targeted areas.
∎ Develop and implement a capacity-building program for Mangrove Caretakers, including training and tools distribution.
∎ Ensure mangrove nursery establishment, maintenance, and long-term sustainability.
∎ Facilitate the formation of an expert pool with diverse stakeholders from local and regional levels.
∎ Lead the process of reviewing and interpreting existing policies to align them with climate adaptation goals.
∎ Conduct high-level advocacy meetings with ministries to address critical environmental and educational issues.
∎ Supervise field facilitators and ensure effective implementation of all project activities.
∎ Manage relationships with schools, local government bodies, and other stakeholders for seamless project execution.
∎ Master’s degree in Environmental Studies, Agriculture, Education, Public Policy, or a related field.
∎ 5+ years of project management experience in conservation, education, or policy advocacy.
∎ Expertise in mangrove ecosystems and community-driven conservation approaches.
∎ Proven ability to engage with policymakers and advocate for evidence-based solutions.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
