• Excellent documentation and communication skills in report writing and presentation.

• Skills in private sector engagement in public health related project implementation. Hardworking and ability to work under pressure.

• Physically fit to ride extensive motor vehicle.

• Good in MS Office application suite.

Social Marketing Company, a large well-reputed not-for-profit company, involved in implementing health and family planning programs throughout the country, wishes to recruit the following position. The Company is implementing a project `Alliance for Combating TB in Bangladesh (ACTB)` to fight against TB in response to USAID`s local organizations network (LON) in different parts of the country. The company seeks talented and aspiring candidates who would lead into the assigned Upazilas of SMC-ACTB project and meaningfully contribute to the efforts to attaining the project goal. The incumbents will be recruited initially for a two years period, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance.

• Under the guidance of the District Coordinator and Deputy Field Manager, the Upazila Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing, implementing, coordinating, monitoring as well as systematic managing of program for assigned upazilas/areas under ACTB project.

• S/he will manage training, meeting and reporting data collection under assigned areas.

• S/he is responsible for mapping prospective SMC network providers (BSP, GSP, GSM) for basic and refresher training. S/he is also responsible for coordinating and monitoring of partner`s activities, and the activities of Blue Star Providers, Green Star Providers and Gold Star Members at field level.

• S/he will participate in GoB and NGO coordination meeting as per project requirements; liaison and network with local icddr,b representatives, ACTB partners and other stakeholders; prepare and submit different reports in timely manner; check all project related expenditures/bills/voucher and maintain compliances.

• Set personal KPI in consultation with respective District Coordinator and team members; review and provide feedback for improving capacity of assigned Blue Star Providers, Green Star Providers and Gold Star Members; liaison and coordinate with District Coordinator/Deputy Field Manager, local SMC program department and field level staff of SMC Enterprise Ltd.

• The Upazila Coordinators are located at the Upazila level.
