• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• MBBS with Diploma in Ophthalmology and/or, MS or FCPS or other relevant higher degree.

• Updated BMDC registration is essential (Consultants who are currently in service can also apply).

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Clinic, Healthcare/Lifestyle product

• Age At least 28 years

• At least 3 years’ experience in providing consultancy services as an Ophthalmologist/Eye

• Consultant/Eye Specialist in hospitals or clinics.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to maintain doctor-patient confidentiality.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Expert diagnostic skills, empathetic and compassionate.

Social Marketing Company, a large well-reputed not-for-profit company, involved in implementing health and family planning programs throughout the country, wishes to recruit the following position. The company seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to reach the goal of SMC. The incumbent will be recruited as part time basis initially for one-year period, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance.
Job Location: SMC Diagnostic and Consultation Centre, Khulna
Responsibilities:

• The Eye Specialist will provide consultation and treatment for eye related diseases and conditions at the Outpatient Department of SMC Diagnostic and Consultation Centre, Khulna.

• Support the center’s spectacle dispensing service by providing accurate prescriptions and guidance to patients during consultations in regard patients’ vision and appropriate lenses.

• Collaborate with other medical and non-medical personnel for ensuring quality of services and patient satisfaction.

• Ensure maintaining standard quality of services.

• Perform duty at evening shift 3 hours preferably from 6 pm daily and 6 days a week (except Friday).
