∎ BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Operations Division:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain active relationship with regulators and stakeholders (Retail, Corporate, SME, Treasury, RMD, Internal Control & Compliance, and other Operations units, Bangladesh Bank, NGO Bureau, other scheduled banks, auditors, National Board of Revenue (NBR) etc.).
∎ Deal local and foreign vendors/ clients on daily basis to ensure smooth completion of projects.
∎ Prepare RFP and gather requirement for any system related changes.
∎ Lead to deal cases as per foreign exchange regulations and internal process-policies, also share and update team about the changes/updates.
∎ Coordination with sensitive stakeholders within the organization (AML, Treasury, Internal Audit) to achieve compliance and error free performance.
∎ Strong knowledge on Tax/Vat on Inward, Outward and any local fund payment.
∎ Strong knowledge on Fintech and digital banking, its changes and future.
∎ Monitor and ensure timely responses to Bangladesh Bank, government institutions and other regulators.
∎ Guide and motivate the team to ensure effective service delivery relating to Outward, Airlines & Shipping Remittance.
∎ Ensure all regulatory permissions are obtained from relevant regulators.
∎ Ensure team to documentation checking related to Outward Remittance /Airlines Surplus Remittance as per regulations.
∎ Ensure proper handling and correspondence with Bangladesh Bank for post-facto & pre-facto approval related activities and all queries.
∎ Assist team to develop individual skills (Compliance, presentation) to timely deliver satisfactory performance to achieve team goal.
∎ Assist management by producing accurate KPI & MIS for monitoring, efficiency and strategic decision making as well as by timely accomplishing any given assignments.
∎ Build awareness and make contingency plans to meet sudden business calls/targets effectively.
∎ Undertake special assignments and accomplish it on time to meet departmental objectives.
∎ Guide and ensure the team staffs to know and fully comply with all approved process and policies.
∎ Initiate to identify any existing process gaps and work on process development/automation.
∎ Escalate to & cascade down key risk events/exceptions and also initiate for suitable mitigation plans.
∎ Plan and initiate for appropriate training for staff development and efficiency management.
∎ Timely escalate issues and proactively initiate to resolve for ensuring customer satisfaction.
∎ Plan and initiate to rotate staffs in various desks for developing a cross-functional support team.
∎ Maintain records of mistake, appreciation & training and monitor performance accordingly.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Have expertise and strong command on commercial outward remittance and Airlines-Shipping Remittance.
∎ At least 10 years' experience in Foreign Exchange other than Trade
∎ Sufficient Project management experience with foreign & local vendors
∎ Good communication skill (both written & verbal)
∎ Proven leadership skill (Management & Motivativation).
∎ Excellent interpersonal relationship
∎ Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, and capable of meeting deadlines.
