Job Summary:

The Transport In-Charge will oversee and manage the entire transport operations of our group of companies, including Real Estate projects, retail Super Shops, and Healthcare/Hospital units. The role involves ensuring efficient vehicle utilization, proper maintenance, cost control, driver supervision, and compliance with all transport-related regulations. The position demands strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities to ensure smooth and safe movement of goods, materials, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of all company vehicles across the group.

• Maintain up-to-date records of each vehicle (registration, fitness, insurance, tax, servicing, etc.).

• Ensure all vehicles are in good working condition and are serviced on schedule.

• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance expenses.

• Plan and allocate vehicles for different departments/projects based on operational needs.

2. Driver & Staff Supervision

• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and transport support staff.

• Schedule duty rosters and ensure discipline and punctuality among drivers.

• Monitor driver behavior and performance through logs, GPS, or other systems.

• Conduct safety briefings and ensure adherence to traffic rules and company policies.

3. Logistics & Coordination

• Coordinate transport for materials, equipment, and personnel between company units (Real Estate sites, Super Shops, Diagnostic Center/ Hospital).

• Support logistics planning for special events, deliveries, or emergencies.

• Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods and supplies.

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain proper documentation of all transport activities (trip logs, delivery notes, accident reports, etc.).

• Ensure compliance with local transport regulations, vehicle permits, and safety standards.

• Liaise with government authorities for vehicle documentation, route permits, and renewals.

5. Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage the annual transport budget.

• Control expenses related to fuel, repairs, and maintenance.

• Negotiate with vendors, workshops, and fuel suppliers for best rates and services.

6. Safety & Security

• Investigate transport-related accidents and implement preventive measures.

• Ensure secure transport of goods, cash, and sensitive materials.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, but Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in transport or fleet management, preferably in a group of companies or similar industries (Real Estate, Super Shops, or Healthcare/Hospital).

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management software.

• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and fuel monitoring tools.

• Strong administrative and documentation skills.

Working Conditions:
