Job Context:
∎ Background of CODEC: CODEC is an inheritor of DANIDA Bangladesh derived from couple of project intervention explicitly DANIDA Boat Building Project and Boat Rental Scheme. CODEC has been working as a people centered development organization since 1985. CODEC has been growing and evolving into efficient and effective non-governmental development organization in the coastal area of Bangladesh. From the beginning of its development intervention CODEC started its activities only with the fisher folk communities but over the period CODEC now extended its working area with other disadvantaged coastal communities along with the fisher folk community.
∎ Background of Donor: UNICEF has been working in the country since 1952. UNICEF provided emergency relief to thousands of war refugees and children caught up in several of the world’s worst cyclones. Millions of people have benefited from UNICEF’s health, water, protection and education programmes. UNICEF works in partnership with the Government of Bangladesh, development partners and civil society to ensure the survival and development of children with specific focus on the poorest children to achieve global and national targets for child rights.
∎ Objectives (Scope): Under the supervision of Deputy Project Manager-CODEC UNICEF Project; the purpose of the MPC Manager is to ensure effective implementation of project intervention in around the safe centers concern to him/her; with all concern personnel among CODEC & UNICEF for the purpose of CODEC UNICEF Project implementation under Cox’s Bazar Region.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to secure efficient and effective Training Programme implementation, management and coordination.
∎ Responsible to prepare Training plan and Budget for the project.
∎ Conduct Training Need Assessment (TNA) to determine the staff capacity and provide need based training.
∎ Responsible to assess the needs and demands for updating the training and workshop packages of community organizations and inform to the respective Department.
∎ MPC corner based activity follow-up and guided to respective staffs.
∎ Follow-up MPC facilitator activity and provide necessary feedback according to module and guideline and report submit to DPM.
∎ Adolescent club visit monthly basis and to follow-up life skill session and visit report submit to DPM.
∎ Develop and updating the training manual, curriculum and materials as per TNA with programme packages assisted by Project Manager.
∎ Coordinate and conduct training, workshops for the staff and CBCPC.
∎ Prepare periodic report as per project need and submit to DPM.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years

Salary: Tk. 64200 (Monthly)
