Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Society for Health Extension and Development (SHED), a National NGO, in partnership with a UN agency is going to implement "ENHANCING RESILIENCE OF ROHINGYA REFUGEES THROUGH SKILLS AND EMPLOYMENT IN BHASANCHAR" project at Bhasan Char, Hatia, Noakhali. For effective and efficient implementation of the project, SHED invites interested and potential candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply.
∎ Job Location: Bhasan Char, Hatia, Noakhali
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility of training module development/adoption, facilitating training events and quality assurance of training activities;
∎ Developing a comprehensive training plan and formulation of training batches/cohorts accordingly including organized engagement of trainers;
∎ Ensuring relevant standards and processes of vocational skills and skills development framework;
∎ Regular follow-up and track the progress of vocational skills and life skills training through regular field visits;
∎ Supervise and provide necessary on-job training to trainers for training quality enhancement;
∎ Develop TVET assessment tools on different training modules and lead the process of evaluation of trainees after completion of each curriculum;
∎ Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years' working experience in any National/International NGO;
∎ Preference will be given to candidates who have similar experience.
∎ Familiar with bio-physical and socio-economic condition of Bhasan Char;
∎ Basic understanding on Livelihood framework and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), ;
∎ Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point);
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali;
∎ Pro-active and participatory decision-making and problem-solving;
∎ Ability to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds;
Salary:
∎ BDT 60,000 per month (all inclusive)
