Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in receiving raw material requirements and approved samples/technical documents from Merchandising and Development teams.
Support supplier sourcing, product development, and sample collection for trims and accessories.
Perform basic sample quality checking and coordinate buyer/management approval follow-up.
Collect and maintain supplier quotations including price, lead time, payment terms, and delivery mode.
Assist in comparative statement (CS) preparation, price negotiation, and management approval process.
Receive order documents (BOM, TNA, Spec Sheet, Consumption) for bulk booking.
Check raw material stock through warehouse or ERP and prepare a booking and PO against approved PI.
Coordinate with Accounts and Commercial teams for payment processing (LC/TT/RTGS).
Follow up suppliers, Commercial, and C&F for shipment, clearance, and timely in-house of materials.
Monitor material in-house status, inventory reports, and support resolution of quality or shortage issues.
