Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Diploma in Textile Engineering

• Diploma in Textile (apparel manufacturing technology) or Higher Secondary with 3 years experience in Tailoring Dressmaking with certification as an NSDA trainer. Preferably to complete NSDA Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBT&A).

• At least 2 years

• Age At most 40 years

• 2 years experience in relevant positions with the capability of developing
• Lesson plans, lecture materials, and curriculum development.
• Evaluate students, assignments written works, and exams.
• Experience in developing tailoring & Dressmaking workshops.
• Well-known different machines for tailoring & Dressmaking workshops.
• Experience in campaigning, Social motivation, public gathering, and presentation.
• Prefer those who have experience in management NSDA registration, and margining assessment.

RDRS Technical Training Institute is looking for a Trade Instructor for Computer Operations, Dressmaking, Electrical Installations & Maintenance for construction, and Mobile Phone Servicing. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and sound judgment. The position is based at Nilphamari in RDRS Technical Training Institute.

The position is contractual up to 28 February 2024 with possible future extensions.

As a mid-level position who will perform the administrative activities and support program implementation. S/he will carry out the following responsibilities under the direct supervision of the Principal.

Description of Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing lesson plans, lecture materials, and curriculum development;
• Evaluate Students, assignments, and written works and exams;
• Preparing a list of materials and equipment to develop a tailoring & dressmaking workshop;
• Lab decoration and ensure learning environment for trainees;
• Maintaining the Tailoring & Dressmaking laboratory including weekly and periodic maintenance of all machines;
• Closely work with Finance and Admin for purchasing lab materials and equipment and budgeting;
• Preparing database of trainees and work for government (NSDA) registration;
• Facilitate NSDA assessment including registration, assessor managing, etc.;
• Work for campaigning, social motivation, public gatherings, and presentations for trainee enrollment.

As per organizational policy and available budget.
