Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan & Execute Potato, Gebbera, Banana plantlets production program in under Guidence of Superior.
∎ Perform and supervise all activities of tissue culture lab such as-stock solution preparation, media preparation, inoculation of explant, sub-culturing, culture room management etc. through standard operation procedure.
∎ Execute establishments of the pantlets and ready for sales. For seed potatoes Minituber and Pre basic Seed Production in net house under Guidence of Superior.
∎ Maintain and make proposal for necessary rectification of major tissue culture activities
∎ Travel shooting of tissue culture related prolems such as- contamination, overgrouth etc.
∎ Hardening of plantlet under field condition with minimum morlality .
∎ Record keeping, pedigree and purity maintenance of source materials.
∎ Out sourcing and collection of high quality initial materials (Potato tuber) for next year production program.
∎ Look after all the asset and machineries under his supervision.
∎ Generate the related reports in job area as and when required.
