Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Documentation:
Review project designs, technical specs, and contractual requirements.
Develop commissioning/testing plans, procedures, and protocols.
Prepare commissioning dossiers, reports, and technical documentation (e.g., O&M manuals).
Execution & Supervision:
Oversee pre-commissioning checks, installation verification, and field activities.
Perform primary/secondary tests, functional tests, and performance validation.
Supervise technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.
Coordination & Safety:
Coordinate activities with construction, management, clients, and other teams.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (permit-to-work systems) and quality standards.
Troubleshooting & Reporting:
Diagnose and resolve issues, faults, and defects.
Compile test data, analyze performance, and generate reports for stakeholders.
Handover:
Support system turnover and facilitate final client sign-off.

Compliance: Meeting design specifications, safety codes, and regulatory standards.
Operational Readiness: Making sure the plant or system is ready for continuous operation.
