Responsibilities & Context:

Summary:

A multidisciplinary technology professional responsible for overseeing OEL’s technology standards, ensuring compliance, and supporting the continuous development of digital workflows. The role also involves generating insights from company-wide data to support informed decision-making. This position combines technical expertise, process improvement, AI adoption, data management, and vendor coordination. The specialist will additionally ensure that subcontractors adhere to organizational requirements while contributing to technology innovation across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technology & Process Development

• Contribute to the development and optimization of internal and external workflows.

• Participate in planning and implementing new technology initiatives, including AI-driven tools and automation.

• Identify technology gaps and propose practical solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

• Assist with system configuration, integrations, and external platform management.
  

Subcontractor Technology & Compliance

• Monitor subcontractor technology readiness, platform usage, and adherence to technical requirements.

• Ensure subcontractor compliance with operational, security, and quality standards.

• Evaluate subcontractor tools, workflows, and capabilities; recommend enhancements or corrective actions.

• Support onboarding, training, and technical guidance for subcontractors.

• Conduct periodic audits of subcontractor systems, data handling, and process alignment.
  

Data, Insights & Information Management

• Maintain data repositories, dashboards, and performance tracking systems.

• Analyze operational data to produce insights for leadership and process owners.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and secure handling across teams and subcontractors.
  

Technical Support & Networking

• Provide general IT support related to tools, platforms, access, and basic networking.

• Troubleshoot issues across internal teams and subcontractor environments.

• Coordinate with IT or vendors for escalated technical problems.
  

Documentation & Standards

• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and best-practice guidelines.

• Support the development of compliance checklists, technical standards, and process manuals.
  

Other Responsibilities

• Develop mid-level applications, scripts, or automations to improve workflows.

• Support system customization or light development projects.
