We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to lead the development of our patient-focused healthcare iOS applications, including AI-powered movement assessments, telemedicine features, and virtual therapist capabilities. This role requires deep expertise in iOS development, architectural design, and the ability to mentor junior developers while working on meaningful healthcare technology.
Lead the architecture and development of complex iOS healthcare applications using SwiftUI and UIKit
Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and testable code following MVVM and Coordinator patterns
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level iOS developers through code reviews and pair programming
Make critical technical decisions regarding frameworks, libraries, and architectural patterns
Drive technical excellence and establish best practices for the iOS team
Develop and maintain advanced features including:
Real-time video processing and camera-based AI assessments
Telemedicine video consultations using OpenTok SDK
ML-powered pose estimation using TensorFlow Lite and CoreML
Complex health assessment workflows and questionnaires
Patient dashboard and data visualization
Build robust networking layers with async/await patterns
Implement secure authentication and authorization flows
Integrate with RESTful APIs and handle complex data models
Manage local data persistence using CoreData
Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption
Work with healthcare domain models including patient assessments, biometric data, and clinical workflows
Ensure HIPAA compliance and implement security best practices for handling sensitive medical data
Develop intuitive UIs for healthcare providers and patients
Integrate real-time communication features for telemedicine
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions
Stay updated with latest iOS technologies and propose innovative solutions
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
2+ years of professional iOS development experience
Expert knowledge of Swift (latest versions)
Strong experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
Deep understanding of iOS SDK, frameworks, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
Proficiency in architectural patterns: MVVM, Coordinator Pattern, Clean Architecture
Advanced knowledge of Combine framework or async/await for reactive programming
Expert-level experience with Xcode, Interface Builder, and iOS debugging tools
Advanced experience with RESTful API integration and async networking
Strong knowledge of URLSession, custom HTTP clients, and network layer architecture
Experience with CoreData for local data persistence
Understanding of data synchronization and offline-first architectures
Knowledge of secure data storage (Keychain, encrypted storage)
Experience with AVFoundation for audio/video processing
Knowledge of camera integration and real-time video streaming
Experience with WebRTC or video SDKs like OpenTok/Vonage
Understanding of video compression, streaming protocols, and quality optimization
Hands-on experience integrating TensorFlow Lite and CoreML models
Experience with computer vision and pose estimation
Knowledge of ML model optimization for mobile devices
Understanding of real-time inference and performance optimization
Expert-level proficiency with Git (branching, merging, conflict resolution)
Experience with CocoaPods and/or Swift Package Manager
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for iOS (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Jenkins)
Experience with multiple build configurations and environment management
Strong experience with unit testing (XCTest) and UI testing
Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD)
Experience with code review processes and static analysis tools
Understanding of memory management, performance profiling, and leak detection
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience in healthcare/medical applications or regulated industries
Published apps on the App Store with demonstrable user base
Experience with Accessibility features and internationalization

Familiarity with backend technologies and API design
Experience with push notifications (APNs) and background tasks
Knowledge of Firebase, analytics, and crash reporting tools
