Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Job Context:
∎ Maintaining access to WASH, Shelter, Energy and Self-Reliance services for the Rohingyas in Bangladesh.
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective implementation of Energy interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Improved Energy Services.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess the needs and resources required for energy activities, plan an appropriate integrated response.
∎ Assemble solar modules, panels, or support structures, as specified.
∎ Install active AC/DC systems, including solar collectors, generators, pumps, inverters.
∎ Install AC/DC systems in accordance with codes and standards using drawings, schematics, and instructions.
∎ Perform routine electrical/solar system maintenance on modules, arrays, batteries, generators, safety systems, structural systems, weather sealing, or balance of systems equipment.
∎ Check electrical/solar installation for proper wiring, polarity, grounding, or integrity of terminations.
∎ Determine appropriate sizes, ratings, and locations for all system overcurrent devices, disconnect devices, grounding equipment, and surge suppression equipment.
∎ Determine connection interfaces for additional subpanels or for connecting photovoltaic (PV) systems with utility services or other power generation sources.
∎ Determine photovoltaic (PV) system configurations based on factors such as customer needs, expectations, and site conditions.
∎ Diagram layouts and locations for photovoltaic (PV) arrays and equipment, including existing building or site features.
∎ Able to communicate in local language (Cox’s Bazar, Burmese)
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project team.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience on Solar grid/ electrical system installation and repair & maintenance.
∎ Professional work experience in different electrical/solar project implementation.
∎ Able to communicate in local language (Cox’s Bazar, Burmese)

Salary: Tk. 27500 - 30000 (Monthly)
