Job Context:
∎ The Technical Specialist (Myanmar Curriculum Pilot) will ensure the technical quality of Plan International Bangladesh`s implementation of the Myanmar Curriculum Pilot (MCP). Specifically, the MCP Specialist role will lead on providing technical support to MCP with a heavy emphasis on girls` enrolment, and should bring technical expertise in the areas of secondary education and/or girls` education.
∎ The Specialist will be responsible for the technical design of MCP teacher trainings and supplementary curriculum materials as well as capacity building to MCP staff to be able to implement activities in line with international standards (i.e. INEE Minimum Standards for Education). The Specialist will be expected to provide technical mentorship and support to Technical Officers and Facilitators, ensuring the overall quality of the pilot implementation. To do this, s/he will collaborate internally with the Education Technical team and the project team, as well as externally with the project donor, UNICEF, as well as with the Education Sector on MCP issues, serving as Plan`s key focal point on MCP

Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for a Bangladeshi Nation who is competent and committed professional holding At least University degree in Education, social sciences, Development Studies or related field. Required to have minimum 5 years working experience in education sector. Experience in humanitarian settings is an asset preferably in international development organization as well as good understanding & knowledge about Humanitarian architecture of the Rohingya Response its operating and regulatory environment. Have experience in Child Education & Protection, Case Management, YEE or Education. Required to have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English & Bangla. Understanding and speaking local language of Cox's Bazar or Chittagong is an advantage.
