Educational Requirements:
∎ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Animal Husbandry from any reputed institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure well-being of Dairy Cows, Calves, Heifers and Bulls by continuous monitoring and identify the problems of animals
∎ Diagnose diseases and treatment thereof, and will apply medications and better nutrition when necessary
∎ Ensure regular vaccination and preventive medication of the dairy cattle to control infectious diseases in the farm
∎ Ensure proper feeding and management of the pregnant cows/heifers and parturition thereof.
∎ Ensure close observation of all the breedable Cows and Heifers in the Barn and in the Paddock for heat detection and Performing A.I timely in order to achieve pregnancy of cows/heifers.
∎ Carry out Pregnancy Diagnosis (PD) on regular intervals and report to Head of Dairy Division for confirmation of the conception of the cow/heifer.
∎ Formulation and Production of TMR for feeding all categories of cattle ie, Milking cow, Dry Cow, Pregnant or non- pregnant heifers, Bulls, Male and Female calves of the Dairy farm.
∎ keep regular contact with Fodder Cultivation and Silage Preparation Section in order to get regular supply of Corn silage as well as green grass
∎ Manage bull housing, ration, vaccination and medication on regular basis

∎ Age at most 32 years
