Job Context:
∎ WAVE Foundation is a national NGO has been working in the domain of Sustainable Livelihood, Democratic Governance and Social Development & Climate Resilience since 1990. WAVE invites application from the potential candidates for the following position of `Economic Enhancement through Strengthening Beef and Goat Market System (2nd Phase)` Project at Puthia Upazila, Rajshahi funded by HEIFER International.
∎ Employment Status: Full time project staff.
∎ Job Location: Puthia, Rajshahi.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical guidance to Community Facilitators-CFs;
∎ Capacity building of CFs, CAVEs, and participants;
∎ Identify the technical issues of production and marketing;
∎ Ensure practice of improved production technology for livestock and poultry;
∎ Develop enterprises of goat, dairy and cattle fattening;
∎ Organize animal health camp & ensure vaccination;
∎ Liaison with Upazila level stakeholders particularly Livestock Office, Agriculture Office, UP;
∎ Develop and manage partnership with private sectors & market actors;
∎ Prepare reports.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 2 years of working experience in developing IGA, small entrepreneurship and value chain on agriculture and livestock areas.
∎ Good computer knowledge especially in MS Office.
Salary: Tk. 25000 (Monthly)
