Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Technical Officer will be overall responsible for the prevention of and response to GBV and sexual violence to Rohingya refugee children and adolescents component of the project and effective delivery of the training and awareness-raising events related to community protection including planning, supervision, monitoring, evaluation, strategic discussions and issue-based decision making on those. The technical Officer will be responsible to assess the GBV, protection, and DRR situation of the beneficiaries and design awareness sessions and activities addressing those in an appropriate manner engaging the community, and deliver those activities through volunteers and community groups. The job involves regular visits and interaction with the beneficiaries.
∎ Conduct Need Assessment for Protection programs and training for the staff and the beneficiaries
∎ Deliver training programs for the staff & beneficiaries
∎ Develop a referral pathway for the beneficiaries for protection, nutrition, WASH, and other health issues
∎ Visit field sites as required to ensure timely and qualitative implementation
∎ Develop and maintain a healthy environment for the team including community volunteers and the program participants, organizing timely discussions on strategic programming issues. Ensure that staff members reflect the institutional character in their relationships with the affected communities and allies
∎ Ensure all project activities designated are conducted in accordance with the agreed work-plan and proposal
∎ Submit monthly reports to Technical Coordinator ( International), including activity summary, progress against objectives, services delivered, beneficiary caseload data, achievement to date, issues faced, impact stories, and financial expenditure
∎ Maintain regular and effective communication with the team Establish Adolescents clubs, train adolescents, caregivers, teachers, and train members of LCMC.
∎ Coordination and follow up with different actors especially those who work on CBCPM's and provide referrals service
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Basic computer skills in MS-Office.
∎ Must have skills in making donor reports.
∎ Knowledge of the local language will be an asset.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and dual/multi-management
Salary:
∎ Tk. 55,000/- per month, Consolidated and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
