∎ There is a vacancy for the following contractual position based at Parbatipur Upazila, Dinajpur District for the ECM Project as follows
∎ Job Summary: Responsible for achievement of assigned tasks & objectives defined for the project through organizational values, principles, cultures, policies in efficient, effective & quality manner. Monitoring of project progress and reporting; capacity building of institutional stakeholders and duty bearers at different levels for establishing and strengthening child protection mechanisms at community level towards a fully functional national child protection system. Maintain functional relationship and linkage with community, other project`s personnel and appropriate local authorities to ensure sustainable and qualitative service. Providing supportive supervision to staff (Union Facilitators) and networking with GO/NGOs and all other stakeholder. Need to be multi-lingual, understanding of local social or cultural issues / taboos that influence HH decision makers, local elites for child marriage. Ensure programs and events run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Service Delivery
∎ Provide necessary support to field staff to conduct training of local government, law enforcement officials, lawyers, marriage registrars, and child protection surveillance groups (including health service providers, govt. social worker) on cause and consequences of Child Marriage, enforcing laws to prevent and ending child marriage
∎ Regularly visit field activities and committee meetings to encourage, support and necessary feedbacks to field staff, committee members and relevant stakeholders to provide better services for achieving the project goal
∎ Assist to provide life-skills/rights/existing protection systems and age appropriate ASRH education/training to adolescent girls as per project design
∎ Responsible to coordinate all activities, maintain liaison with relevant government and non government organizations and bodies, GnB network at the Upazilla and District level, and obtain the necessary administrative and technical support
∎ Take responsibility within other areas of LAMB Project as required or assigned by Manager/Director
∎ Capacity Building
∎ Ensure capacity building of staff especially for Union Facilitators, health service providers, social workers on roles and responsibilities, planning and monitoring
∎ Conduct capacity building training with School Management Committees and teachers to promote access to quality education for girls through creating girl's friendly environment
∎ Improved capacity of in-school girls (and boys) who are at risk of child marriage to be more resilient
∎ Training on capacity building on Project implementation, Child Protection, CBCPG, data tracking & analysis system, donor compliance etc.
∎ Assist to provide training for girls on life skills, IGA and organized outdoor sports and co-curricular activities (Football, cricket, debate, wall magazine) to build their confidence and resilience
∎ Support religious leaders to sensitize community people on the negative consequences of child marriage through their regular public speeches
∎ Ensure that monthly staff meeting for reporting and planning is organized regularly
∎ Provide supportive supervision for outreach/peripheral activities
∎ Ensure orientation on role, responsibility, planning, monitoring, for opinion leaders
∎ Develop community capacity to make the project sustainable
∎ Assist to organize cultural event to sensitize the community about forced child marriage
∎ Assist to find out vulnerable and hard to reach adolescent girls and ensure project support for them
∎ Impact Assessment/Monitoring/Evaluation
∎ Ensure smooth data recording and data collection including accurate statistics/other reports on health and development activities are collected and submitted to LAMB timely
∎ Ensure that health and socio economic changes of the group members and beneficiaries assess timely and appropriately
∎ Ensure that participatory monitoring and evaluation systems are in place, using community score card
∎ Ensure that impact of the program and lesson learned were documented properly
∎ Ensure that duty bearers are taking initiatives as part of sustainability
∎ Assists Project Manager and others high Officials to prepare reports for donors
∎ Assigned to assist M&E team.
∎ Networking and Dissemination
∎ Arrange to disseminate impact to groups, communities and governments
∎ Arrange public hearing , pledge signing and deceleration of child marriage free union
∎ Take initiatives to organize dissemination meetings for GO , NGOs and Girls not Brides network
∎ Advocacy meetings with association of marriage registrars and lawyers on the practice of age verification of couples through birth certificates at the time of marriage
∎ Conduct advocacy event (meeting/ roundtable) with policy makers/ government executives responsible for ending child marriage and other related laws
∎ Integration of spiritual, emotional and social health
∎ Ensure that prayer occurs before meetings, training and seminars
∎ Ensure that availability of religious books at working place
∎ Be able to explain to anyone who asks LAMB motto and logo
∎ Be example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision and values.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years practical experience in adolescent health, mother and child health development program.
∎ Experience in BCC including developing training modules and materials. Good in training facilitation. Strong understanding of health, hygiene and nutrition issues. Leadership skills, innovative, creative, self driven and skills in using social media, documentation best practices. Supervision and monitoring, facilitation training required. Sound knowledge on networking and advocacy. Able to drive motorcycle with full valid motorcycle driving license.

Salary:
∎ Around Tk. 34,000 per month gross. Benefits include medical care at LAMB.
