∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Recruit, train, motivate and discipline the Technical Team, as required, to follow all procedures and to communicate effectively to the Next UK teams.
∎ Closely monitor the Knitwear technical team to ensure they fully understand the product, safety requirements, fitting, fabric performance, sampling process, production procedures, and quality / Safety standards, as well as monitoring and reporting on UK Warehouse failures (STS) and customer returns
∎ Manage all aspects of the Technical team including: selection, providing technical coaching/counseling, conducting performance evaluations, communication of operational goals/objectives, etc.
∎ Work closely with all internal departments within the business i.e. Product Managers, Merchandising, Fabric and Garment Technical and Sourcing to give the best possible service level.
∎ Ensure that the quality standards of the business are competitive, commercial and clearly defined.
∎ Successfully deliver against the annual Quality KPI targets set.
∎ Evaluate the manufacturing facilities and capabilities. Provide targeted training to vendors ensure they understand the standards and are able to translate the requirement accurately into samples and bulk production.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Minimum Graduate with sound Technical Knowledge & certification
∎ The applicants must have experience in Sweater with any reputed multinational Buying/Sourcing/ Liaison Office.
∎ Problem Solving Skill
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and establish solid working relationships with the NEXT UK Technical, Merchandising and Development teams.
