Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate in Textile Engineering/ Apparel Manufacturing/ Fashion Designing from reputed university or diploma in Textile will be added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare initial/ final costing, negotiate prices, follow-up the sample development process in order to ensure that samples are developed accurately.
∎ Liaise with the buyer and designer in order to confirm receipt of the design pack and to provide and agree on the apron a target due date for the sample.
∎ Schedule meetings with the Technical team and Product Manager in order to discuss the design pack for distribution to the suppliers.
∎ Review lead-times of the proposed fabric have & trims update NEXT on long lead-times.
∎ Ensure design packs are discussed within 24 hours of receivable.
∎ Check feasibility of samples (price and product) check alternative options with the UK.
∎ Ensure sample turnaround time is within 2 weeks.
∎ Ensure base testing is carried out for new fabrics and trims, and issues are discussed with the Fabric Technician and handover to the production team in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure lab dips are ordered on time.
∎ Follow the below procedures to ensure style handovers to the production team happens accurately.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants must have experience in Jersey products with any reputed multinational Buying/Sourcing/ Liaison Office.
∎ Having excellent product knowledge of Jersey
∎ Efficient in computer operation on Microsoft Office applications
∎ Problem Solving Skill
∎ Should have practical experience in a fast-paced/multi-cultural environment.
∎ Have a good understanding of fashion/ apparel history.
∎ Have experience on day to day direct communication with the buyer.
