Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Graduation or Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Textile Engineering or apparel manufacturing will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Sweater Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Expertise in technical specification for sweater yarns and sweaters knits manufacturing.
∎ Overview and support elevated yarns approval process from the conception to final approval to align product testing requirements.
∎ Have to follow up sample development, approve sample & finishing quality in order to maintain a good standard product for executing shipment smoothly for the nominated customers.
∎ Check samples against product specifications to ensure that they meet customers' quality standards.
∎ Able to check all kinds of sample & communication with customers/buying house.
∎ Having experienced and capable of handling buyers independently on Quality Assurance matters.
∎ Must have goods knowledge to supervision of sample department to output required samples with quality's according to the capacity.
∎ Provide technical support to merchandisers, factories and customers to ensure product quality
∎ Have to maintain and prepare quality documentation, quality SOP and other relevant activities to face technical audit.
∎ Have to work on bulk knitting /linking approval.
∎ Have to understand and develop the process of sweater knit construction, yarn development, gauges, and stitch/ pattern development and knitting chart.
∎ Monitor daily report and analyze feedback for corrective and productive action.
∎ Have to directly monitor production and provide technical support to production unit whenever required, to ensure quality standards.
∎ Have to establish quality check points for smooth quality up gradation by conducting internal quality audits as per compliance requirments.
∎ Ensure works were inspected by the respective QCCs in accordance with the Quality Control System (QCS)
∎ Prepare daily quality report and report to management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Capable or must have experience on facing technical audit.
∎ Having knowledge on kid's safety standard.
∎ Should have vast knowledge on preparing Quality SOP.
∎ Must have good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
∎ Excellent command in both spoken and written English.
∎ Can handle buyer & suggest alternative solution.
∎ Able to contribute to improve quality with problem solving ability.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Must have experience in handling of jacquard machine (Sweater).
