Responsibilities & Context:
Project Leadership & Management
Lead and coordinate different projects within the NGO Forum to ensure integrated and effective implementation.
Support the Project Team in planning, implementing and monitoring project activities according to approved work plans and budgets.
Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely delivery of project outputs and adherence to quality standards.
Track progress of activity implementation and identify operational challenges requiring management attention.
Facilitate coordination meetings with team leaders ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports for NGO Forum management.
Support budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, and financial documentation in collaboration with the project’s finance team.
Ensure financial integrity and promote financial transparency and assist in internal audits or external financial verifications.
Support procurement operations, verify documentation and recommend approval of key procurement actions in line with NGO Forum and Donor procurement policies.
Support coordination between procurement and programme teams to ensure timely supply chain management.
Sectoral Coordination & Representation
Actively represent NGO Forum in Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) and WASH Sector coordination meetings as delegated by Director- Programme Operation.
Assist to develop sector strategy in line with NGO Forum’s mission, vision and strategic planning in the WASH response.
Maintain communication and coordination with local authorities, Sector partners and implementing agencies under the guidance of Organizational Policy.
Support liaison with government bodies such as RRRC Office, DC Office, APBN, DPHE etc. to ensure administrative compliance and collaboration.
Lead the project implementation plan in line with the sectoral guidelines and national strategy.
Technical Support, Knowledge Management & Capacity Building:
Provide technical assistance and oversight for the WASH program implementation.
Oversee strategic management and successful program implementation, ensuring program quality according to Sectoral & SPHERE standards.
Assist in the development of sector guidelines for in line with the program
Oversee the collection, verification and consolidation of field data, lessons learned and case studies to ensure quality documentation and knowledge sharing across the projects.
Coordinate and facilitate technical training, workshops and refresher sessions for field teams and volunteers.
Support the creation and dissemination of knowledge materials, technical notes, and best practice summaries.
Human Resource & Team Supervision
Foster teamwork, motivation and accountability within field staff and community-level volunteers.
Support team planning, duty allocation and problem-solving for effective task completion.
Assist in staff supervision, performance evaluation and capacity-building initiatives for field-level personnel.
Research, Monitoring & Evaluation
Coordinate with Monitoring teams to track project performance indicators and verify field-level data accuracy.
Contribute to results-based monitoring reports and success stories for internal and external reporting.
Support adaptive management decisions using monitoring findings and feedback mechanisms.
Risk Management & Crisis Response
Identify and report emerging operational risks, challenges or field-level issues to line supervisor.
Support emergency preparedness and response activities, including contingency planning.
Ensure adaptive coordination of project operations during emergencies or rapid response situations.
