Job Context:
∎ Maintaining access to WASH, Shelter, Energy and Self-Reliance services for the Rohingyas in Bangladesh.
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective implementation of Energy interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Improved Energy Services.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Project Management in overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project.
∎ Designing or coordinating the design of solar thermal systems of photovoltaic (PV) systems for the targeted areas.
∎ Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
∎ Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
∎ Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the operation and maintenance of solar power systems.
∎ Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
∎ Perform project management functions; calculate project quantities; prepare project cost estimates, specifications and coordinate activities with other external agencies in the target area.
∎ Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups, and organizations regarding engineering issues.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience on Solar grid design, Solar Power supply design along with Project/Team Management
∎ Professional work experience in different electrical/solar project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and project management software)
∎ Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla & English

Salary: Tk. 110000 (Monthly)
